Wheely Digger

Turned a wheely king rock racer project into a Gravedigger....Everyone needs a monster in their stable somewhere. Used a VXL so I could run full bore, and then turn it down 50% for the kids to play. This truck started off as a 2wd OG WK years ago and has been modded constantly over the years....probalby the 6th or 7th incarnation of it.

3Racing CR01 shocks w/CK black springs
HD RP gears front and rear
Aluminum center tranny gears
Shaved Duratrax MT tires and wheels

Botched the decals up front, but good enough for a 6 year old. Realized I never put the window decals on...oops. So have some more details to finish up, but had to take it for a test run Ran awesome, the swaybars were the best addition I made. Totally under control and just enough roll for a scale monster look.

Some random action shots - super fun to drive...been a while since I went over 5mph. Geared a little low, have to work to keep the fronts on the ground so the wheely bar will most likey end up back on the back. Soaks up the landings like a champ! Just a tiny bit of bounce from the tires.

Hell yeah, everyone needs a grave digger. I built my 3 year old one and he loves it. Not quite as nice as yours.

Digging the tires! I'm jealous of your flame decals... Was watching TV, not really paying attention, and put the wrong ones on first. Oops.

The swaybars are an HR set for the wraith. Defintely helps a ton - that's a rather heavy body up there.

I made my son a Grave Digger out of a Redcat RS10- it started out as a Wheely King that I was half way through installing the crawler conversion on but could never find time to finish. Gotta have a Grave Digger in the collection, for sure.

yup....had some leftover 6061 and was playing around 1 day.

I've driven RC's at the park and fielded some questions, but have never been mobbed like I was last weekend. Took this out for a spin and must have had 20 people + hordes of kids come over and ask the usual questions. EVERYONE recognizes Gravedigger. "thumbsup"
