Hi all. Can't decide between the BPC battery plate (with electronics tray) or the Jcad delrin one. Anybody have experience with either you can share? Do either work with the GCM combo kit? Thanks. Any other full size battery plates you can recommend are appreciated too.

Neither will work with the GCM forward trans kit as they mount where the trans/motor ends up.

You are kinda left to figure battery placement out yourself when using the GCM trans kit.

I use the factory battery tray mounted at the rear on mine that has the GCM kit.

I made the battery mount to go with my GCM conversion out of a piece of G10 that bolts to the top of the transfer case.

If the goal is to run full size packs, you can make a similar one that runs across the chassis instead of in-line.

I'm running the BPC, after bending it up it still rubs the 2.2's slightly.

Note: After a few runs w/the tray bent up, it appears to be so soft that it is bending under the battery's weight. I may change it or reinforce it.

Cool, thanks guys. I will try and mock something up for the time being. Still undecided on the GCM kit.
