Getting a slash and wanted to go ahead and order some batteries so i figured why not go lipo but i have no clue which ones to order. what are you running?it will be stock electronics for time being if that matters..Thanks for any help

I'm running the Orion packs, the 3200 and 3600's to be exact. Light and woohoo powerful. I also now my track will require a hard pack for racing...so if you race or plan to race this you might check your local track rules.

I also run stock (I did swap to the included "speed" pinion).

Just make sure you watch the discharge, the XL5 does not have a Lipo low voltage cut off.

I'm running a Track Power 5350 2S 17c pack with great results. Also picked up 2 Poly Quest 6000 2S 25c packs that I need to install Deans on, the Poly Quest packs are Enderland name brand cells and are the best in the biz."thumbsup"

I've run Trakpower 4900's and Orion 3200's as well. I like both of them quite a bit on my Sidewinder 4600 in my Slash. I think you'd be very happy running the Orion 3200's or even a Trakpower 3200 pack.

A123 3cell 9.9volt with stock electronics, but the voltage is higher than the esc and motor are rated so I take it easy and let it cool down in between big full throttle bursts. I love my a123 batteries, they are amazing. Sidewinder/4600 combo on the way, it should be killer with my a123s.
