Any Primus fans around these parts? Tomorrow night, after close to 20 years of being a fan, I am going to see them live for the first time:mrgreen: I am quite fawking excited to say the least8). I got my ticket back in March & have been counting down ever since. Here's a little cheese in the form of a few of my favorite Primus tunes.

They are supposed to be here soon as well. Unfortunately I would need to get a mortgage to afford a babysitter capable of wrangling my 3 delinquents.

Huge fan. Seen Les a few times in various iterations. One of the only live acts I've enjoyed seeing. Have fun!

I love Primus.

"sold enough crystal mtyh to buy a step side truck"

"DOG WILL HUNT"!

"drove so god damn fast. never did win no checkered flag but he never did come in last"

First time I saw them I was like 'who the fark are these guys' .................

20 years later I still listen to them. "thumbsup"

Enjoy!

hmmmm now Im feeling some Mr.Krinkle .... time for some Pork Soda :ror:

I've seen Primus probably 15 times... Last time I saw them was last summer at AllGood. Video'd it from the hillside.

I know every song they have. Listened to The Brown Album today after I saw this thread. It's the only album I don't have on disc, but I do have it on vinyl. Oh and Rhinoplasty. And They Can't All Be Zingers. Though they're in my Amazon cart. I intend to get all the discs and all the records.

I got Tales From The Punchbowl the day it came out and my college room mates would tell me to turn it down, then eventually off cause I constantly listened to it as an emerging audiophile. An audiophile who couldn't get enough of Primus. Silly.

My friend fats he's a hell of a guy, and just as long as he's high, he has no anxiety, about his chemical dependancies.

seen them live a couple times. one of them was with buckethead and was awesome.

i wasnt an audiophile as much as a boom head back in my college days but my name is mud sounds REAL nice when you got a couple 15's in the trunk that you bought with student loan money. "thumbsup"

Instead of boom head I read that as bacon head. :ror:

I used to cover My Name Is Mud on the drums. "thumbsup"

I went from a high school boomer to wanna be audiophile and Primus was with me every step of the way. In fact, a friend of mine was a bass player and gave me Seas of Cheese saying since I like bass I should try this out! Full circle! Awesome.

Right on, good to see people with some good taste in music:lmao: I'm going to the show alone since none of my friends are into Primus. I tried to get my wife to go, but she's not into it. Whatever, that's fine, I'll go by myself:ror: Now I just need to make it through one more night of work.

Oh I can still remember
Jenny Hernando
She was my little lovely one
When I was seventeen.
I remember the day that she
Gave me her viriginity
And then she gave it to everyone
In our vicinity.
:lmao:"thumbsup"

If you have an iPhone we can do Facetime video chat with iMessage and it'll be like I'm there with ya. "thumbsup"

Two big stand out songs that suck me in and pound my brain with musical awesomesauce are On The Tweak Again, and Over The Electric Grapevine, both on Punchbowl. I think I've about worn through my vinyl copy of those songs on that record.

Party on, I'm gonna listen to it right now with a fresh reeb, maybe think about buying a Xmas tree from Del Davis.
