Who is watching the inauguration today?

obama was voted in
hitler appointed himself..

as a german it disgust me that you compare the two

ps.
you're all bigots.

Obama and Bush were voted in by the electoral colleges, not the popular vote. For example, The people in Florida voted for Gore, the electoral colleges voted for Bush.
Tell me, Who won? Which of the votes mattered?

For a German you don't seem to care about your country's history.
Hitler WAS popular and become chancellor, then he took complete power.

Bush was voted in and guess what he did? The Patriot Act.
What makes Obama different from any other egotistical, power hungry politician?

P.S Your opinion does not matter. You may be affected by what happens in the U.S, but your opinion doesn't affect the U.S.

Let's hope that actions speak louder than words. That speech was amazing. It reminds me of John F. Kennedy and many of the things he said. I just wonder if Obama will live through his Presidency and if he will actually change the politics as usual approach our country has been plagued with. Just to be clear, I voted independent and did not vote for Obama.

There was NOTHING amazing about that speech. Sure he can speak alright with a Teleprompter in front of him , but he's already NOT doing things he said he would. Obama is no different than any other politician, bush included. A bunch of lying bastards regardless of skin color.

On the ABC show, Denzel Washington just called this "the most important inauguration this century, in fact any century ever."

Can someone please tell me why he would say that? What has Obama done that makes his so great? Is he really that good of a leader?

well i'm proud to say i'm watching it ....and proud to see what's happening on this day....GOD BLESS AMERICA
...and I'm excited to see what the next 8 years will bring ..

8years? Getting ahead of yourself a bit eh? Based on the bs and twisting of words Obama has handed us so far, I hope it's only 4 years till the next president.

Well its sad to say the only people you have to blame for the "need for security increase" is stupid bigoted Americans. It's not Obama that hates certain people its the bigots who hate him (for no logical reason) that are causing the problem. It's not the overwhelming majority of people who voted for him who might try to assassinate him.

Of course nobody who voted for him would want to do that. His election wasn't an overwhelming majority, if that's what you meant- it was only a few percentage points.

Come on Jason , you know it's because he's black.... Errr I mean half black, sin e his mother is white, but I haven't seen his mother mentioned 1 time since he was elected. The only mentions I've head are of his dad who is Kenyan and his aunt who thought it was a great idea to bring a spear as a carry on to a plane

Last time I used the word, "few", I meant 2 maybe 3, not 7. Obama received more than 8.5 million more popular votes than McCain. Obama also received just shy of 200 more electoral votes.

The difference is staggering between Bush and Obama's votes.

2008 had Obama win both the popular vote by over 7% and close to 200 more electoral votes.

In 2000 Bush on the other hand lost the popular vote by over 500,000 (just a tick under 1%). However this was the first election ever in US Presidential elections that was this close. Now look to the electoral college, because Bush won states with more electoral votes, meaning they should have more voting citizens; fewer of the voting population showed in those states which caused the popular/electoral issue. Bush did take a 271 electoral while Gore was left with 266.

WOW....what a freakin MORON ....

Dude lighten up. It's called sarcasm, and all of what I said is true, at any rate. Obama is just as much white as he is black, and his aunt DID attempt to bring a SHARPENED spear onto an aircraft as a carry on.

You're automatically wrong Scott because you don't love Obama and didn't blindly follow him off the cliff:lol::lol:

Is that even possible?

Because ABC needed to boost the ratings since they're in the crapper like the newspaper business before Obama?

That's a awful lot of money to spend protecting someone that most the country seems to hate.

They should have just held it Hooters. At least they could have got chicken wings there.:lol:

Nope I refuse to watch that crap & waiting for them to issue all our given african american names!

Riiggghht...No race issues there, hmm?

Let's try this. Bush had his run, now it's this guys turn. If he screws up like Bush did, I'll jump ship. Until then, he was democratically elected by the people. Whether or not you believe it was through lies or slander or whatever you think, he won. Get over it.
