Who is watching the inauguration today?

oh you must be going for a bba at indoctrinate U? I live in a very very conservative city, we voted for McCain 73 to 27 however when I was in college the instructors were so left wing it was sickining. this explains a lot. you have much more to learn than college has to offer, as do I. "thumbsup"

You mean like being in college? No? Hm, that's funny. This is my second year "thumbsup" So apparently since I don't agree with you I'm another one of those ignorant dumbass teenagers...Isn't that interesting?
Just because your in college doesn't mean your smart. But knowing that makes everything so clear now.

whats interesting is that you seem to like to think you're so intelligent, when in reality, you haven't lived long enough to have any real life world experience, and most of your knowledge seems to come from a very slanted liberal bias. 60's hippy Parents perhaps?
BTW there are thousands of college graduates out in the world working as waiters/waitreess's.
An ounce of common sense goes as far as a pound of book smarts in most real world situations.
The teachers in schools are extremely liberal these days.

School (both elementary and university) should be used as tool for you to learn how to think, not what to think.

I agree with you Jeremy, but critical thinking is not something that is taught. It can't be taught by any Government school which is what all public schools and institutions are. The minute you become wise enough to question authority and think critically, you are a threat. Governments of the world including our own all want loyal subjects / sheep to do what they are told.

Shaun, schools should always tell you how to think.....just not what to think. Even if your teachers are liberals or teaching you views that you dont like, as long as they are showing you how to expand your knowledge, then they are doing their job. Remember the phrase..."know thy enemy"? You should know and understand both views in an arguement.

Nova....agreed! The desire to think MUST still be present. Someone can teach you how, but if you dont have the desire, then you are just a follower...

The "know thy enemy" line reminded me of...

Lyrics:
Yeah, were comin back then with another bombtrack
Think ya know what its all about
Huh!
Hey yo, so check this out
Yeah!
Know your enemy!

Come on!

Born with insight and a raised fist
A witness to the slit wrist, thats with
As we move into 92
Still in a room without a view
Ya got to know
Ya got to know
That when I say go, go, go
Amp up and amplify
Defy
Im a brother with a furious mind
Action must be taken
We dont need the key
Well break in

Something must be done
About vengeance, a badge and a gun
cause Ill rip the mike, rip the stage, rip the system
I was born to rage against em

Fist in ya face, in the place
And Ill drop the style clearly
Know your enemy...know your enemy!

Yeah!

Hey yo, and dick with this...uggh!
Word is born
Fight the war, **** the norm
Now I got no patience
So sick of complacence
With the d the e the f the I the a the n the c the e
Mind of a revolutionary
So clear the lane
The finger to the land of the chains
What? the land of the free?
Whoever told you that is your enemy?

Now something must be done
About vengeance, a badge and a gun
cause Ill rip the mike, rip the stage, rip the system
I was born to rage against em

Now action must be taken
We dont need the key
Well break in

Ive got no patience now
So sick of complacence now
Ive got no patience now
So sick of complacence now
Sick of sick of sick of sick of you
Time has come to pay...
Know your enemy!

Come on!
Yes I know my enemies
Theyre the teachers who taught me to fight me
Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission
Ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite
All of which are american dreams (8 times)

Yes, I should have said "What" not "how".

Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission

The pen is mightier than the sword.

Thanks for posting that video with lyrics."thumbsup"

What says I'm any less capable of making an informed decision as you are? Of course I assume my informed decisions come from the left wing parents and left wings schools I go to so I must not be making a truely informed decision, right? But (I'm assuming) your right wing parents and "very very conservative city" have nothing to do with the forming of your viewpoints, correct? I've heard both sides and I've made up my mind, just the same as you. What really annoys me about this is that everyone keeps telling me "there is no exception for real world experience" and "wait till you've been out in the real world". Why hasn't anyone said the same thing to Shaun? Correct me if I'm wrong here but he is the same age as I am correct? So why aren't you accusing him of having his views formulated by conservative parents and no real "experience"? It seems to me that the only reason I'm being attacked for my age is because I disagree with you. I've lived long enough to know that life is full of disagreements between individuals that will never change. I am respectfully asking that everyone here stop telling me that I am wrong because of my age. By all means disagree and argue, it's the most effective way that I have found that I learn these things and it's why I so readily jump into these debates, but by shutting down my opinions and views as "just another dumbass brainwashed teenager" doesn't help anyone.

That's a dumb assumption. Before I was born, my mother was a Democrat and my Father was a Republican. I live in El Paso, Texas which is pretty much under Democrat leadership. I don't consider myself a left wing or right wing, infact I don't like either one.

Here we go, back to the Jimmy Carter days of kissing everyones ass so they like us.
Lasting peace between Israel and Palistine, lmmfao
Good luck with that One President Obama.
Mr peanut brain (Carter) said the same thing back how many years ago. Really worked well didn't it peanut brain
Peace, love and Bobby Sherman to all you liberals out there.

I'm not making any different assumptions than what you guys assumed about my parents.

I still take that bet!

It's easy of Obama to sign the order, get all of the good press, and give all the libs that tingly feelings in their pants. Then 6-8 months down the road, extend the closing date due to "unforeseen circumstances". Of course most of the lib media w/ give him a pass and blame it on President Bush.

I'll give you that one. Signing papers is one thing, actions are another.
