who on RCC has broken there lower leg?

Make sure you do the PT when and how they tell you. 8-9 years ago I messed up my left ankle pretty bad, almost ripped the ligament right off the bone. Was given PT to to try and make the ligament stronger and not so stretched out. I was young and thought I don't need this crap, so I did 2 visits and called it good.

Last year my ankle had gotten to the point where I couldn't even walk on flat ground without it just rolling out. Ended up getting the middle part, that was dead, removed and the ligament considerable shortened. Spent 4 months in a cast and now my range of movement on my left ankle is next to nothing, stronger than hell but no give:?

I feel your pain man. I crushed the bottom of my femur, top of my tibia and fibula, tore a nickle size hole in my meniscus, stretched MCL and LCL, and completely severed my ACL.

No great heroic story behind it either, just jumped off my retaining wall in the back yard:?

Good luck and enjoy PT

Yeah I skipped physical therapy. I don't have full movement, but I have most of it. I can't go as far forward as the other side, but everything else is okay.

I'm skinny and you can see the screw heads stretch my skin, especially if I roll my foot inward.

Yeah you losing to a hubcap? Lost your man card that day, too.

Yeah stupid thing doesn't work several years later now. Did everything exactly like they said. $13,000 and a dead fingure priceless.

Uh, damn man. Far drop or what?

5 feet. Problem was that once the ACL went, my knee was free to completely come apart. Think of when you lose a lower kingpin in on an axle. You lost a small part but because it is not there holding everything in place, you destroy the hub, axle, and steering, etc.

and ya, 3 years later it still hurts every day.

thanks everyone on the full PT headsup"thumbsup" noted & will do PT, my job is paying for my full recover so, might as well take advatage of the Insurance"thumbsup"
my daughters friend said, yea not me, on PT and skipped it, jummped on his skateboard and just jupped off in control. now he has to do 20% more PT
he said he stuck with PT this time and its good now.

called my doctor, telling him this pain is gettig BAD worse.
he said it will peak "the pain" then drop down a bit.

i broke my tib/fib, shattered my pattela, severed my miniscus, and tore my acl/mcl all at once about 4 years ago. to this day it still hurts constantly, anyone who knows me has seen me limp everywhere.

4 years and still pain:shock: i didn't want to here this one, that sucks
i hear very bad things about torn acl's

Yep, the pain got way worse the day after I got home from surgery, like you're saying, the pain peak. I've never felt pain like that before, or since.

Walking is pretty normal, but I didn't run or jump for maybe two whole years afterwards. I still don't run too much, and I'm kind of a chicken now on the rocks and jumping down ledges and whatever. I used to skateboard for 9 years, so it's a change for me.

I definately can't move as freely as the side that hasn't been broken.

Your leg looks like it got its ass kicked!

did it twice in the same spot one time on a bmx bike and one time racing mx dirt bikes first time was 2 months second time was about the same but i cut the cast off 3 weeks in after the second doctors appointment and soaked it in hot water and then iced it but as you can tell i ice raced with the broken leg on a 85 atc 250r three wheeler that winter on crutches untill i got spit off again and broke a collar bone when i hit the ice thank god for duct tape and a home made collar bone brace was racing the following weekend except now i was on one crutch my thoughts now are young dum and full of cum god i loved pain you thunk i would learn its funny now that i am 46 and the worst thing is i would do it all over again.

Thats actually a pretty mild pain killer...I got the same thing for getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I've never broke my leg but i have broke both arms multiple times and it really does suck. Hope you get healed up quick! Good luck. "thumbsup"
