Had today off, and subsequently a three day weekend. Stayed up a little later than usual last night, planned to sleep in. But I got rousted out earlier than normal with shit going down at work due to the storms.

mixed feelings. Going to my inlaws for a weekend is always a strain, even though I get along with them just fine. Right now I'm recovering from a bruised and/or fractured rib, so I'm not looking forward to sleeping somewhere that doesn't include my own bed. On top of that, they still have snow (albeit way less than here), so bringing an RC or 20 with me isn't going to do me any good. On the positive side, we got a ham from the local butcher and I CAN'T WAIT to mess that thing up.

I still gotta go down to the Walmart, and pick up some Easter chocolates to hide...maybe I’ll even let the nieces, and nephews help me look for them.

Last year two of my older cousins (kinda like big brothers) helped me hide Easter candies, then we wrote clues on Easter cards for a Easter candy scavenger hunt for their children.

I love Easter for the three day weekend. Good Friday was spent running errands and lots of shooting. "thumbsup"

Lots of these three little bears were harmed. Or are they rabbits?

Is Good Friday as a day off a regional thing? I know we don't get that up here. One of my vendors outside of Philly is closed and it is screwing with my timetable on a job. :x

Yes, it is a religious day, but some companies still count it as a holiday. In fact, most companies I've worked at have given their employees off on Good Friday.

Yep, most of Louisiana recognizes Good Friday as a holiday but I'm at work today. Could be boiling crawfish right now with the family but I'll be there shortly.

I think it depends where you work. I drove a local delivery truck for a distribution company and we worked 6am til we finished our routes.

The first municipality I worked for, we worked in the morning, got off at noon and went across the road for a beer and bbq. The one I work for now, we work all day, 8-4:30 unless we take the day off.

Ready for Easter here, haven't had my RC's out in probably 7 months, but I dug them out of the basement, chargeed up the Lipos and test ran them at the park. Should have about 5 of them running around easter sunday with the family. The only thing I'm wondering is who is going to manage to destroy one of my 7950's servos....as for whatever reason goons always seem to jam the servo horn into something to **** them up......but should be a blast otherwise!
