Grabbed the wheel idea from Kaneohecrawler and was going to use the wheels for some reduced 2.2's. Then I got to wondering what the Big Bear tire size was because when I run them on my 2.2's they're a stretch to get on. Maybe they're closer to 1.9? Lets see....

Can we say Arctic ice tracker? These wouldn't crawl for schit, BUT they'd be pretty good in loose media like sand and ice (i think.)

Hopefully the weather clears a little and I'll throw the truck in a sandbox and do some testing.

BTW, they're 4.5" tall and 3" wide. :)

how did you make the rim?? is there a thread?

no... its hella easy
cut center out of 4 rims take 4 good rims and sand the outerbead smooth to the plastic.
the the inner portion of the 2nd rim

b4 glueing to gether smooth the outer rims to make the "lip" add a little ca glue and bam a widened axial beadlock.

basically in a nut shell its just 2 beadlock rims glued together... and a little sanding and patience..

thanks for the info!

is that a sway bar on the back axle?

what material is your cage made out of?

sorry for the different subject matter.

from other racing and rc - there are times a wider tire is better for sure.

this is just what I was looking for , got some vintage 2.0 diamond studs and was wondering if they would fit on a wide 1.9 BL

Added pics. A small tip for whoever is planning on making a set of these wheels. I used toothpick tips as dowels in three beadlock holes to line the wheels up together. Easy stuff.

Oh, and I also contacted Imex to see what it would take to mfg the Big Bear line again. Not holding my breath tho, but its worth a shot.
