will a tq3 work

ok guys I want to put 4 wheel steer on the tuber I'm building and I have a traxxas three channel receiver and I wanted to know if the tq3 radio system will work to control the rear steer? or will i have to have a different radio and if i need a different radio which radio will work that won't brake the bank? thanks.

A TQ3 will work fine. You may need to mod it with a proper 3 position switch.

sweet thanks for the help. I found the rear steer switch kit the tcs has so I think that I will order that and the transmitter when they are back in stock.

The TQ3 will work just fine for a dig system, but it needs to be modified for rear steer. My setup has a switch for rear steer (top) and the thumb toggle for the dig. The green switch selects which third channel switch is active.

This mod takes about 20 minutes and about ten bucks in parts at Radio Shack.
