i definitely want to add a winch to my rubi but there are so many out there which would be my best option and if you can lead me to a place that has them actually in stock that would be great

Best options are the new rc4wd warn winch or to make your own servo winch (not the easiest option) or buy a kms servo winch but both those require special mounting I tun a servo winch up front and I'm putting a new rc4wd warn winch in the back the new warn winches are awesome u can order them from rc4wd or go on eBay where I got mine since no lhs have them yet

A servo winch is really easy to make. I wouldn't rule it out just because you've never made one... they can be more of a problem to mount since you should hide them under your body but assuming you have space for a servo, no problem.

Just buy a Heyok winch controller and a used servo... I like to use the winch drum spools but some people even make those.

You'll need a way of mounting the servo and it won't have the "Cool Look" factor like the real trucks mounted on the bumper. :flipoff::mrgreen:
PS: Johnny, I don't have time for DAT! :lmao:

I'm using a HeyOK servo winch mounted next to my CMS steering servo. I really like the look of the front bumper with just the fairlead mounted on it, looks very clean to me.
