Windows Tablets?

I am glad you asked I have been looking into getting some kind of tablet since my laptop crashed. That was one of my questions with it also.

the thing you want to ask is is it running a full windows 8 or the rt version. the rt may not be able to run castle or tekin software, but the full version should. the dell you are looking at is an rt model.

The rt versions will Not run castle. I tried loading castle link on a demo tablet running rt in best buy and it gave me an error stating the operating system was Not supported.

Your best bet if you want something small and portable but still able to run the software would be a Netbook. They are small just like the tablets and will still be able to run the software you want. Just make sure when you get one that it has the full version of Windows and not a RT version.

Not trying to hijack your thread Violator, you just asked one of the questions I have had. I guess I need to do more research on the tablets since I want to be able to run external memory and my tekin and castle stuff on it. What tablets are out there that can do this?

as has already been stated forget tablets look into an ultrabook. though if you realy want to use a tablet a samsung ativ would be a great option.

This would be a good ultrabook option

This was what I wondered. I have a couple of lap tops, a netbook, and a couple of android tablets. I was hoping a windows tablet would meet me in the middle and do everything I want. Maybe not. Still at this price I might pick one up just for giggles.
