Hey, welcome to the 4th event of the 2nd season of the Snowcrawl, to be held on Feb. 22nd, at 1pm, right here at my place.

No signup, not worth the effort. I just freaked when I saw that over 200 peeps were invited thru Facebook!

The results for v2.3 are posted in this section, check it out.

The rockpile was tough this time, for everyone. Dana and I changed it around the night before, and I did a little more rearranging early that morning.

We also added a section on the side, "connecting" the rock grade with the Catbox. Lots of good terrain there!

The V decending ramp got repositioned to connect back from the suspension bridge to the platform between the log road and the frame section, so you run the rockpile both directions in one circuit. Then the next section was a 360* circuit thru the concrete tunnel, either direction, then finally a run up the incline and around the puck and back across the start line.

No one was in a big hurry to go outside, so we had a free-for-all on the pile and a few tugs of war. Dana got out his Yeti and raced around the front yard, and ended up breaking the center out of a wheel. Good times!

So, Feb 22nd for v2.4, and March 8 for v2.5

Hope to see y'all here!!

You know I'll be to both. Maybe I can have Slimer up and running for the next one, it's not far from a running state.

And Thank You again for hosting these Phil, it's a whole lot of fun!

I'm probably out for this one. We have some stuff going on for the opening of my store that day. If anything changes, you know I'm in.

I can't wait to see the Rock Rat in action, River, try not to trade anything crucial off in the next month or so, k? ;)
Kevin, glad to hear you are gettin' by relatively cheaply. I think I trashed 4 in a month trying to keep up with Dana!
Derek, thanks and it's fun seeing what you come up with all the time. Come help me add/replace course sections, that whole corner after the suspension curve is lame.
Adam and Mitch, it was great to meet you guys, sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to either of you for very long. Next time!
And to all of you, I'm usually home, and I don't need much arm twisting to punch on the heater and plug 'em in. Testing, driving, fixing, breaking, building, whatever.
Hit me up, that's why I built it!

I will be there for sure! I already have taken that day off for my b-day. I will bring the carnage with the Camino  and Sam will have her ascender ready. The yeti will be ready too!! "thumbsup"

Well im heading to the Caribbean for a week and a half so im out on the 22nd.but i will be in on the 8th. I better let someone else win!! lol

Hey y'all, once we get done with the indoor portion of the crawl, and if Mother Nature doesn't do any worse than she's done already, and the day isn't too bad, I'm gonna suggest we all run down the block from my house and jump on the trail into Locke Park. You might want to waterproof your electronics, there's water out there unless it's cold as...well, you know.

If you're down for some outside driving, be sure to wear good boots, gloves and hat, and bring something to drink...easy to get dehydrated in the cold. There is wide open gravel trail, deer trails, walking trails that branch off the main trail, and lots of fun terrain to negotiate. The run could last a few hours, so bring your big batteries!

I'd like to start the event at 11:00am Sunday, and try to be headed for the woods by 3pm at the latest...should work out! Bring your scale gear, it'll be a teamwork kind of deal...get everyone thru and out!

See y'all the 22nd!!!

Just looked at the weather forecast...not good, calling for cold and snowy on Fri and Sat the 20th/21st, but we'll see!

Hey guys... I am for sure out for this even. Found out just how not waterproof my "waterproofed" ESC was. Smoked it and the cheap motor that I was running in it.

Both my Wraith (hope the new servo gears fixedmy issue) and new 1.9 build are ready! I may bring my Slash with paddles for some bashing afterwards.

Slimer and Stubby are ready for tomorrow! And Farm Truck is always ready!
