:evil:Today I toasted a stock Spur gear, most likely my fault or all the Torque I get from my Br00d LE motor or both.;-) I talked to several members and bought both the 32P and 48P spur gears. I have never run the 32P so we will see how I like them. My local hobby shop has really stepped it up in the past year and is starting to carry things I need and will now order whatever I ask for. Two years ago they only carried go fast stuff and did not even stock alum servo horns.:roll:​

More bugs. Loctite it your friend :roll:, I am glad I am getting wheel time in right now. I changed the oil in the shocks to 60wt from 35wt. It is slower than I am use to but feels more predictable. The new spur and pinion combo with the 35T motor feels quicker but I have not noticed a drop in torque which is good. I moved the drag link up one hole in the Robotronics arm and the servo is much happier, running much cooler now. I stood the shocks up a bit but I feel like I lost some of the sidehilling I had so I am going to be laying them back down a bit. Testing one change after another takes time but it is paying off."thumbsup"

Went out to two local spots today Ringing Rocks in Pottstown and Green Lane Park.
I have not run my Leopards in a long time so I wanted to compare them to my narrowed VOODOO.
I have always loved the Leopards, but the narrowed VOODOO bite and grip much better.​

Should be ok, all of our local spots are by water, we dunk our rigs far too often, the sidewinder micros I just switched out were several years old and had been dunk atleast a half dozen times. If you get the battery unplugged immediately and let errythang dry before plugging it back up more often than not they come alive.

PRODIGY 3D Printed Skid​

As you can see these are nice and light. I am looking forward to comparing the weight between the stock skid and the new lightweight 3D skid. It feels like it will slide as well as the Delrin skid.​

More info to come, now to go and tear apart the rig I just put back together.:twisted:​

OK tore it apart, easy to do on such a great designed chassis.
4 bolts to drop the skid, 4 bolts to remove the tranz.​

Brian had one on his rig at RI and at the NENQ. It seemed to slide well and felt better then delrin. (My fingers aren't rocks tho)

I am looking forward to what you think of the skid. A great option for a lighter, Slichter skid!
