Hi, didn't realize(or totally forgot)there was a semi local group on this site. I think there's some people around that aren't on RCC. I know not everyone is on facebook but there is a page on there...WNY SCALERS that we also post to and try to organize things. If you have a chance go check it out, I'll post this group on there also for anyone that doesn't know about it. Thanks
Eric W.

I just recently learned about this from Raceaholic. I'm not on facebook but I'm going to sign up just to join the Wny Scalers group! Thanks!!

Hey, I don't on here as much as I'd like to. We have a group on fb also...WNY SCALERS. We're planning some gtg this spring and hopefully a few scale comps.

Yes we are. There is way more info on Facebook. Just look for wny scalers and join the group. Most of us are around the buffalo area.

no where else the info is posted? i dont want to activate my facebook account just to look for RC stuff. I have a group of 4 or so that try to get out every weekend and crawl.

Hey all. I wax just trolling through here looking on ways to fix and upgrade my ECX Temper 2 that has been sitting around for some time now and found this group. I hope that I am not too late to post as I see this place is somewhat dead...lol. I am in the western fingerlakes area, right outside Letchworth State Park

Not dead. It's much slower than in the past, but there is a small, but good group of diehard guys left.

i suggest capra 1/18 axles for that temper parts for the temper axles are almost unobtainium these days
redcat had a few part left over from there version of it that crossover also old losi 1/18 scale parts can crossover but your better off upgrading everything to newer stuff

Hey there. Thanks for the quick reply. I already have all the upgrade parts that I need for this little guy. Got 2 all metal front axles off of Amazon. They are for the SCX 10.2 but saw that I can make them work. I also got 2 sets of metal drives hats but gotten wrong length ones so I need to find out what length the oem ones are and cut these ones down. Then doing a hardbody jeep grand Cherokee for it. It should be awesome when I get it finishedq2😎

your better off starting over that transmission will wet the bed trying to lug around metal 10.2 axles and your gonna want some kinda frame if you want to run a hard body so 3 gear transmissions are cheap these days and you will want a skid plate to match your trans bolt pattern
and axial style frames are also really cheap
your gonna be buyin a motor and esc also but trust me its cheaper to start with the right stuff than to spend money trying to keep something thats not up to the task running

just my opinion having been there done that
