Would the pn racing motor work with the stock spur?

Hi guys, I was curious if I could run the pn racing motor with the stock pinion and spur since the pn racing gears are currently out of stock and I'm impatient... Well if anybody that did the pn racing motor mod I'm curious if the spurs are the same physical size even tho gear pitch is different.

Well the mount and the motor are in stock..

You could run the stock pinion and spur since they are both .3 mod. You would just have to drill the the stock pinion out to 1.8 - 1.9 diameter because the pn racing is a 2mm shaft.

Usually it seems the stock plastic pinion doesn't survive being drilled out for most people, though I used to do it with brass pinions.
This guy is a member on here and sells forward mounted 130 metal motor plates and brass pinions.
