So I decided to put little more effort into my "transforming" wraith, as it has been scale III car for a while, and been foffing with brushed electronics also.
But now is time to get little more serious with it
Sanwa MT-4, telemetry for motor and esc temps
Hitec HS-7954SH
Castle SV3 / 1406 4600kv
CC Bec
Goal with this rig is lightweight, so all the way plastic. When keeping it light it holds up just fine. (but I also keep spares in toolbox...)
At this moment he`s sitting at ~2300g and there are few more tricks up my sleeves..
Also I`m trying to keep the weight down low.. This in mind I fabricated new battery tray. First piece laminatig CF with vacuum.
After that pic I trimmed it to fit, final weight was 6.8g
And here at place...
With full compression upper links touch the battery tray but that should not be a problem..
In the (hopefully not too distant) future there is plans to make CF panels for it ;-)
There was a little f**k up with the molding (too little wax on plugs) but nothing than wet sanding wont cure.
And heres a little clip from first run at a tiny sand hill
