Anybody try Yeah Racing shocks? Or anything from them?
I've been looking for a good (better) alternative to the stock shocks and ran across these for pretty cheap... compared to some others. I just don't want some Integy type of crap.
Yeahracing - (#DP-0006BU) Alloy 90mm Damper Set (BU) For 1:8 Buggy / Bigfoot

Reading their website is kind of funny, it's one of those direct translation kind of things. Reminds me of "All your bases are belong to us..."

I know everyone likes their proline shocks, but so does proline ($$). I'm going to give my stockers one more rebuild then they are done. :flipoff:

I have a set of HR (Hot Racing) 100mm shocks on one of my SCX10's and love them I have no issues at all. I have also heard that the Slash front end shocks work well. The ProLine shocks are great but like you said they are too pricey. Thats the same reason I didnt get them. Good luck.

check out RPPHobby.com and look through the scale suspension section. "thumbsup"

They don't look as scale as the stock SCX or the Proline shocks. They also look like typical chinese mass produced shocks that will probably leak. It's cool that they come with different springs but so does Proline. I will say the SCX shocks work well for me, not sure why so many have issues with them. For a plastic kit shock I think they are great.

My stockers leak all the time. Lets be honest, most of the things we have to choose from are Chinese mass produced. What makes a proline look more scale, colors? At this point I'd just like to have something that doesn't leak...

I use Traxxas Big Bores from a T-Maxx.. Split on a set of 8 with a buddy and we each took 4. $65 approx for 8 shocks, so it was a good deal.. AND... they don't leak and are smooth as silk, they are a dark grey color so they match well and they have the gold color Ti shock shafts( which is probably why they're so smooth)

I have used YeahRacing shocks on my 2.2 Bully comp rig for quite a while now and have had zero issues with them. They are a darn good shock for the money IMO. I drive my rigs hard, so if there were going to be issues, they would have shown up by now.

@ wally
Those would look better, but wouldn't do anything for the leaking. Might help the sticky movement though. We'll see. I'm going to give mine one more shot before they become spares.

@ papa Thanks for the review.
