I have been scrounging and saving parts and projects, and decided to put this one together finally. Here's the basics:

Hummer H2 hard body from a Mattracks Radio Shack Truck
MSD BB-51 chassis
Locked XXX transmission
Wheely King axles
Stampede drive shafts
Integy 55T motor
Leafs in the front (Jugg if I remember correctly)
3-link with coils in the back
Custom rear lower links
Wheely King rear top link
T-Maxx shocks all four corners
HPI Split 5 wheels
Moab tires
Custom bits here and there to get it all together
There's just a basic ESC and steering servo in for now

Thanks for lookin'!

Looking good. Thats a pretty nice body everything fits well including the ride height and whatnot.

You run it outside yet?I am wondering if you are going to get a lot of body rub.

Wheelbase is 11.5"

The front tires rub very little, even at full articulation and with the wheels turned. The way I set it up, the rear just misses the body, but does rub on the rear bumper. I already took the dremel to the front of the rear bumper and it helped a lot. I may have to cut it back a little more though.

Nice build.
I like the H2 Hummer body style. I would never own a 1:1 Hummer though which is weird since I like the body style so much. I used a H2 lexan body on my SW2 comp rig and I have a H2 body for my Losi LST2. I was just thinking the other day that I should make a scale H2 crawler. Good looking crawler.

You mentioned basic ESC and servo, what are you planning to upgrade to?

What battery are you running and where do you mount it?

As far as the ESC, I have a couple other rigs with the Mamba Max, which is my favorite. I just don't know if I'm going to sink more money into this truck, as I am considering selling it.

I mount the battery across the back side of the front shock mounts with rubber bands. It holds nice, keeps the weight towards the front, and is not really visible with the body on unless you look for it.

Nice Job! I think yours turned out cleaner than mine, but man that is almost a perfect mirror image of the one i built a few months ago. Looks great!
