I am painting my Lexan body yellow (Tamiya Yellow PS-6). I want it as bright as possible.

My mind says Yellow 1st, backed by Sliver and then backed by Black. I want the finished underside Black.

My plan is to use all Tamiya paints for simple as possible paint job.

Do the expert painters agree?

Thanks

White will brighten the yellow that is applied first, yellow, white, silver then the black, the black will tend to make the outside look darker if it's visible through the windows, good way around this is to pin the windows chrome or a complimentary color to the main color

I did a lot my bodies yellow. I found yellow silver black to look almost creamy, and found yellow white black to be brighter. I liked em creamier.

Creamy

Thank you for the replies!

So, creamy is that like the Tamiya Yellow PS-6 spray can lid color?

I do like that yellow EeePee. That is also the simplest I think to do.

btw……

It is a Wraith Body, I did not see a lot of Wraiths in yellow. I hope it turns out ok.
