Yet another servo from HITEC

That is incredible. They say that the case is a little larger on this but 10% is nothing. Kinda slow but with that much torque who cares.

i can see the purpose of this servo in large scale planes, but in anything on the ground its almost pointless. maybe in a large scale monster truck it would be useful to replace 2 large sized servos (generally 250-350oz/in each), but in a crawler, i cant see it being needed. i think 486oz/in from the current hitec is nearly pointless. mabey if they re-gear this new servo to make a high speed version with around 350-400oz/in and closer to .10-.12 transit time i might buy one for my 1/5 scale onroad to replace the 1/4 scale servo i have.

So a 1" servo horn mounted on this beast could produce nearly 40 lbs of force? If that's right - sweet jeebus!

639oz/in = 39.93lb/in

Overkill maybe a little. But tell that to the guys running 2 400+ Oz servos.
I know 400oz on my Super was no were near enough so 2 servos was in the plan for my new rig.Not now I think 600 will do fine.
Hell I wish I had a stronger servo on my 2.2 all the time two.
Sounds like I need to get a job two buy new servos.:)

10% larger would be about the size of the wp servo in the slash. shouldnt be an issue when trying to mount one.
these would be perfect on a super
my main concern is that ive never been a fan of hitec costomer support

Alright!! I can quit using 1/4 scale servos now!!

Way to step it up Hitec! "thumbsup"

Man you shold have stopped running those years ago.:flipoff:

No no I quit using 5955's and 5995's cuz they cost so much and I wore them out, so I went to 1/4 scale cuz they last longer and much cheaper. Still up in the air though cuz 1/4 scales are $35 and I am a poor boy.:-(
