Yeti vs yeti xl

just google yeti xl reviews. From all the reviews i have read so far, it really doesnt have any weak points. Even though the servo is only 151 oz servo, even that seems to be holding well in the reviews. Even though they share the same name (yeti and yeti xl) i read that these trucks are completely different and no parts are shared between the two platforms. Ya I was just looking for reviews that have used it for a while I wanted the yeti till they came out with the xl know I would rather have that love the looks of it prob get one next month right before Christmas lol

Keep it at 4S and this thing is sold. So breaks on 6s except tires ripping their glue off but that power is violent and eventually something will go. Servi definately needs replacement but the plastics in steering have prevented any damage, just sloppy steering.

I ordered my XL this weekend. I've been patient through the Yeti storm and seeing what was breaking kept me from buying the RTR'eplace. I'll maybe get a used one later for cheaper.

The XL I had to have. It's big, Burly and Badass. It's fun to drive so I plan on taking my time on changing it up too much. Torque twist is the only real big issue it has. Out of the box, tear it down, repack diff's and tranny, shim the diff's with the provided (6s) shims, check the screws on everything, and go have fun. "thumbsup""thumbsup"

Iwas gonna get one but my buddy bought a losi desert buggy xl 1/5 scale two stroke and I was sold on that instead, it's only 300$ More than the yeti xl on Amains web site..
As I also already have a yeti, Probally would have got one if I didn't buy the regular yeti though..
Maybe in the spring but for now I'll watch you guys have fun with them..

I ran the XL and the 1/10 Yeti this weekend at the track. The 1/10 seemed slower, but more nimble. The XL always had power, and when I went off track, didn't need to be picked up to get over dividers. The XL is a ton of fun and the 1/10 is awesome. I have both, but the novelty of the hugeness is just plain awesome.

Put some chains on the tires and it would be one hecknof a plow and you wouldn't have to leave the house.."thumbsup":lmao:
Ya I know right that's what I was thinking I got a ramp going off my porch already was there when I bought the place open my door go out and plow and I can stand right in my kitchen window where it is warm lol bet a 5th scale could plow pretty good put some weights in each tire and like u said the chains I think it would do really good just the cost to have the plow made lol
