I'm not sure if topic hasn't been brought up before. I tried googling. And no luck
I'm lost as to witch suspension set up is best
A stock Y link. A 4 link or a 3link/pan hard bar

I wanted to relocate my servo like the CMS kits
I'm lost. Lol

I run 4 link front and rear with no issues. A lot of people like the 4 link rear 3 link with pan hard in front. Good luck!!!

If ur running cms then a 3 link with a panhard
Is the best way to eliminate bump steer and get the most from ur servo.

curious to know if there is a conversion to a 4 link up front, can't seem to find anything with the fabulous search tool...

This is the best setup for CMS, I did this on my Wraith using Vanquish parts.

On my SCX-10, the stock "Y" link in the front wore out quickly at the diff end, so I used the parts that were leftover and converted it to 4-link.

I found out today that the 3-link or Y-link allows quite a bit of torque or axle twist. I was constantly on three wheels going up a obstacle. The other SCX-10 was setup the same as mine (except motor and ESC) and stayed planted. I am going to 4-link the rear ASAP as I was always rolling over on steep climbs. It would actually push the rear out and make me miss the line I wanted. This is on smooth rock and steep ledges.

Try mirroring your trans it will help with the torque twist quite a bit. You are on the right track though, i personally wouldnt run the stock Y link at all, especially since its so easy to do a conventional 4 link setup on these trucks

I just recently converted from the y link front and rear to four link front and rear - climbing up steep inclines as well as running over bigger rocky terrain is vastly improved, almost like a different truck. Should have been the way I built it if I had known. :)

The kit comes with the links you just have to go get the hardware to do it but I can say I run 4 link ls front and rear and I like it more than the 3 link."thumbsup"

don't have a kit...was piecing some axels and links together for a tuber build. After reading all this, I will definately use a 4 link set-up...thanks man "thumbsup"
