I guess this is the right place. It will be 1.9 ish.
Well, got this idea(ouch). Wanna have capabilities of a big rig in a smaller package. 1/12 mn86 + 1/10 Trx4 portal axles. I really like lockable diffs, and the turn radius on Trx4 is nice. It will be a single speed. So far got rods and rod ends for links. And awaiting on a servos mount for the lockers. Might have to fab my own due to space restrictions. Got servo mounted on the frame.
I do wonder if it will work.
Any suggestions are greatly welcome.

Re: Ynad's mash-up build

Yes! This combo works. Tried 4 link now back to 3 link with panhard bar. Need to figure out the correct length for it. Now waiting on parts. Diffs servos mount, metal transfer case.
The gear reduction is nuts, don't know how much but it craassswls. Gear box, transfer case, portals, very slow. Now it needs some speedy motor.
I was planning to have the 2in1 fusion but space might be of an issue. So the dilemma, need power at restraint space configuration. No idea yet.

Re: Ynad's mash-up build

Moving along. Panhard link mounted. Runs very stable and slow. Gear reduction is unexpectedly great but a bit too much. Now really need to figure out the power delivery. Tried the hw fusion pro 2300kv. Too slow on 16t pinion, the only one that fits. Might try something much faster with the smaller pinion ...

Re: Ynad's mash-up build

Quick update. Servos for the lockers fitted. Motor fitted. It's really a crawler now. Axles extended. Back to front 4 link. Unfortunately still can't figure out how to get chassis mounted servo to steer properly. So axle mounted for now.

Re: Ynad's mash-up build

I can't tell for certain but it looks like you have your draglink and your panhard bar crossing. They need to be on the same side for 3 link and cms to work right. So both attaching to the passenger side. To minimize movement ẁhen the suspension travels both bars should be the same length. I know it's not always possible with custom builds tho.

Re: Ynad's mash-up build

Druxus! My man to save the day! I didn't even notice THAT! I have Trx6 and still failed to see that obvious detail. It just happened by the layout, servo can be mounted on the left only and the stock position of the panhard mount is on the same side.
Thank you!

It's done. Many thanks to Druxus!!! All works! 4 link with panhard is solid.
Everything functions as it should.
Smaller TRX4-ish/SCX10-ish, MN86.

Good to hear you got it all sorted out. The shots with it sitting on edge and you can see the tops of roofs make me nervous. I just know at some point I would reach for something and just knock it off the ledge.

Thank you for pointing out the obvious. I wasn't familiar with the proper geometry or the trucks front suspension. I've looked at some of the 1:1set-ups and rebuild mine.
Truck was on the ledge for a picture time only. Otherwise, yes I would knock it down accidentally [emoji3]
