Join RCCrawler.com this weekend as we bring you unprecedented coverage of the 2009 Proline-Racing Worlds brought to you by Pirate4x4.com. This competition is putting the top drivers from around the world together to find out exactly who is the king of the rock pile. We'll be covering every minute of this event from the LCQ (last chance qualifier) on Thursday to the awards ceremony on Sunday. There will be live video cameras going, you tube videos being posted, and of course tons of pictures!

 

Event Information

THE GAME!

The USRCCA is proud to host the 2009 Pro-line World Championships at Donner Ski Ranch, California on August 26-30th. 4 days of chaotic r/c crawling madness!


The playing field!

The first ever World championships of R/C Crawling is set in one of the most picturesque locations in the world. The Lake Tahoe, California basin. The scenery and close proximity to airports, and lodging, are just a few reasons why the location was chosen for this event. Drivers will come to compete, with R/C car magazines from around the world covering the event. Live online coverage from the worlds largest R/C Rock Crawling website WWW.RCCRAWLER.COM, ensures the world will be watching the champion be crowned!


The Players!

300 top drivers from around the globe will converge to showcase there driving skills in the 1.9, 2.2, and super class. Countries such as Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, and more are sending their top crawling Drivers to find out who really is #1.


The ball!

The worlds will showcase driver’s skills as they battle the longest and most challenging championship courses. These courses have been designed to challenge even the most seasoned driver in every condition.


The Prize!

The USRCCA will be paying out a grand total of over $13000.00 in cash and prizes!

$6000.00 Total Purse
$1000.00 in Trophies and prizes also awarded to the top 5 in each class<
4 Championship courses per day sanctioned by the USRCCA MEGA Raffle over $6000.00 in raffle prizes. Drawings will take place every 10 minutes during the 4 days of competition.


The competition!

This year’s event will have a little twist. The USRCCA has a limited number of available club invites. So the USRCCA has decided to start the first of many Last Chance Qualifier events. On Thursday the 27th 100 top drivers from around the world will showcase there skills to prove they had the right to be at the world finals. The top 30 drivers from the LCQ will be taken to the start of the 2.2 world finals on Saturday the 29th.

ITINERARY:


Wednesday: Sign ups:
3:00pm - 8:00 pm: sign-ups, NO TECH (read above), Inspection for all classes begins. Running order will be drawn, and the welcome party begins at 8:00pm at the Donner Ski Ranch Bar and Grill.


Thursday: 2.2 LCQ Shootout:
7:00am-8:00am: late sign-ups for 2.2 LCQ, NO TECH (read above), Running order will be drawn. Sign ups close at 8:00am sharp. Drivers meeting: 8:30 am at the CKRC Crawlers booth at the top of the hill.

Start of competition is 9:00am

6:00pm- Sign ups for 1.9 and supers begin and end at 8:00pm. Welcome party begins at 8:00pm at the Donner Ski Ranch Bar and Grill.


Friday: 1.9 and Supers:
7:00am-8:00am: late sign-ups and tech for 1.9 and supers only. Running order will be drawn. Sign ups close at 8:00am sharp. Drivers meeting: 8:30 am at the CKRC Crawlers booth at the top of the hill.


6:00pm- Sign ups for 2.2 Invites begin. Tech closes at 8:00pm. Welcome party begins at 8:00pm at the Donner Ski Ranch Bar and Grill.

Approx 7:00pm: The USRCCA 2010 drivers meeting for all to attend in the Donner lodge.

Top 40 LCQ drivers will be announced!


Saturday: 2.2 World Championships
7:00am-8:00am: NO late signup's, NO TECH (read above), Running order will be drawn. Drivers meeting: 8:30 am at the CKRC Crawlers booth at the top of the hill.

Start of competition is 9:00am


Sunday: 2.2 Worlds finale
Running order will be drawn at 8:00am. Drivers meeting: 8:30 am at the CKRC Crawlers booth at the top of the hill.

Start of competition is 9:00am



Estimated end of event is approx 2:00 to 4:00pm.

At 1:00pm, Sundays raffle will end with the drawing of the $1500.00 CKRC/ Axial donated competition crawler.
Awards ceremony will follow.
