Default winnerone and axialjeepsters bentmetalworkz c1 TACO

so my part is done. this is what i came up with for a very hard to build around taco body.

thanks to railripper for the 2 Tacoma hard bodies!!

this chassis was 100% hand made from the ground up. pretty darn heavy duty for a C1 but we must remember.... this is for Troy (Winnerone) AKA "desTroy"... so lets hope it holds up....

from what i know it will be MRC based drivetrain and have interior in time. I will leave it up to him to add specs and more info/pics...

off to Troy and the few pics I have.

I'd like to see a side shot of that body~ frame looks real nice! Do you braze everything together or spot weld? if you weld what welder do you use?

thank you very much!!
noooo brazing. i used to braze my own stuff and its not a bad way to do some stuff.
this is just a plain ol' MIG welder.. and i try to weld at least 3 points around a bar if I cant get all the way around it.

yep and here it is!! was wondering if you would see this!
glad you did. and thanks again!

also PLEASE do let me know.

Ill say the hard part about building this was the fact that its going to have MRC axles, the cabs are very scrunched up on thesde bodies(not that it means they arent bad ass) just makes things a lil ruff for building around.

or maybe it was just me. maybe Im a pure bread JEEP guy and yotas are just a PITA for me.. turned out good tho.

thanks everyone.

I have one of those bodies as well, it sucks that the bed is wider than the cab. I removed the "Haunch?" on the rear fender, cut it down and put it back together, now my bed is the same width as the cab. Unfortunately I used Max Stone Axles and with the junfac wideners the front axle didn't hold up. good luck with this build, I'll be real interested to see how you make out.
