Default 1985 Chevy stepside, update 12/1

Well, here's a truck I picked up off of losiassociated, tookout the r2 and tlt axles, and threw in an axial trans and highlift axles, some stompers on white steel beadlocks, leaf sprung all around. Still filling the unwanted body holes, gotta get some wood for the bed and finish some taillights for it. Lmk what you think for the color, still undecided...comments, good or bad, are welcome.

What do you think, does the stock clod bumper look too wide?

Awesome. I think the color should be the (smurf) blue that was on the stepside that tanner drove in top gear

Don't lose the bumper...just narrow it up to the width of a 1:1 truck

Bright red with a gun metal grey center section

Maybe look in to a new grill unless you like the 4x4x4 Clod look

Maybe lower the bed a touch too.... level the steps on the step-side with the rocker panels
The bed should tuck in behind the rear bumper a little, not sit above it.

Nice start!

looks great the bumper is a little wide in my opinion and also it my get hit alot coming off of inclines and rocks and what i think would look good, well it depends really, but a shaved bumper or a roll pan bumper with maybe and exhaust tip or somethin will be killer but anyway graet build and ill be watchin this thread i love lifted chevy's

Nice I like it. I agree about narrowing the rear bumper a tad, as far as paint I think you should google 85 chevy step side and look for a factory paint job. Just my 2 cents.
