Default Ceedawwg - Jeep Commanche Homebrew

This build started as a dually tow rig and morphed into this...I am moving it here as it will stay on the 1.55's it sits on now Tow Rig - The Beginning. It is a homebuilt chassis and an in-process decision project. Comments and suggestions are welcomed.

Got lucky on the wheelbase...perfect fit for the Commanche

Wow, that wheel/tire combo is one of the best looking ones I've seen in a long ass time. That truck should be amazing when you're done with it.

Made a little progress on this one. Body painted black on the inside with Tamiya PS-55 satin on the outside and some Spazstix chrome bumpers. Electronics are next...FXR, HH, Spectrum and Savox.

Great looking build love the tire wheel combo.

I dunno about the double bumper though. I would personally just run the stock plastic bumper with a support. Maybe a fairlead in the support for a servo winch.

You be much more capable with s better approach angle.

Still good looking!

Thx for the suggestions and I may end up 86ing the Tough Armor like you said but for now I will leave it.

Added this stainless grill I picked up off of Ebay from a guy in Spain...I like it!

Got started on Electronics...still need Tx/Rx and to come up with a battery tray of some kind. Used an inverted skid for the ESC/Rx tray.
