Default Hawaiian FJ-40

This is a RC4WD Fracture chassis(nothing special). I did want an interior for it but, didn't feel like spending a lot of time on it. Original plan was a floor pan, seats, and a dash, originally. It kinda snowballed into more than that. Keep in mind, I'm no styrene expert.

Started out simple enough, floor pan.

Rough-sketch what I wanted on the dashboard.

Try my best to cut out small stuff.

Put on some support for the firewall/dashboard.

I figured, "why not?", and added peddles and door accessories.

Painted some detail.

What else would make it look FJ-40ish?

Bolt-in, like the 1:1.

Whew! It fits!

Paint it white.

Some seat and a beer break.

Wanted a 60/40 splint bench and the side facing rear seats. Bench seat is an RC4WD 'yota seat.

Painted the old red body Tamiya light blue(don't know the exact name) on the outside.

Watched some drifting.

Made up a new body, wasn't feeling the topless look.

Did a break job.

If you're wondering what happened to the old, topless body:

Thanks for looking.

I bought me an Axial G6 Rubicon. Wanted something different from a Jeep.

I hired a team...

They did a test drive, they liked the way the truck handled.

Lowered the ride height. Looks better, IMO.

It's a Tamiya 'hop-up' parts for the fj-40. Try ebay.
