Talking My Tamiya Toyota Pickup

Hi All

Here are a few pics of my Old Skool toyota pickup that i have had for quite a few years now .

Guy's what i want to know is what do you think it's worth now .

As i am thinking of doing a rebuild & making a 4 link front & rear end , or should i leave it as tamiya made it ?

An original Hilux can bring in a lot of cash. Looks like some modifications have been done, have any body off shots? how did you adapt the wheels to the front?

I would leave it as-is, probably worth some money

Hi

Yes its not 100% as tamiya made it but when the hubs split i had no other way of fixing it . ( i'm using a hex drive that runs on a drive pin with some bushing in the outer end of the diff housing )

The rear leaf springs are missing also ( broke 1 in a slide down a big rock ) I have 2 springs mounted to the diff & 2 link running up to the chassis under the doors of the body. just so it still looks like a toyota .

I will try to find some body off pics.

Ps it has not been used for over 10 years now

See ya

I'd say it's worth about $50 usd shipped to my address. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands.

Really thou, that thing is gorgeous. Would be worth a lot more if you restored the original parts.

HI All

I have most stock parts , all bar the rear leafs & 1 hub is split in 2 .

I think i might need to go back to stock & tidy it up & then maybe it might be worth selling.

I will take a pic of all the parts i have for it & maybe you guy's could help me find out what to use for new rear leaf springs .

Thanks
