Cool Sexy

I have been working on some more scale 1.9's. This one is a rough out but you get the idea.....

I know they look rough but I had to get a picture of it before I leave the shop. This is after the roughing passes. I will try to get pictures of them tommorrow after they have a finish pass put to them

The guys in Montana should be happy with what I am planning on bringing up there

Are those delrin? If so do you think they would hold up?

They look killer.

The spokes are around .400" deep, I think they will hold up for most scale rigs. If not, I will make them out of AL.

I just tossed this design together today to see if I had my MasterCAM setup correctly. I started this little experiment at 3:00 this afternoon and was holding a rough wheel by 7:00. What I am really trying to show is what is possible and what direction the scale guys can start thinking in as far as some really cool wheels.

finally something more appealing that the normal flat slugs with holes drilled in it!
nice work bro! be curious to see how the thin spokes hold up to 4.25" 1.9s and brushless.
looks killer!

the rough cut serated edges actually look pretty cool.

I will let you know how they hold up

but I will have an aluminum set with a 19t motor on 4s lipo. Should be enough power.

Is the finish just related to feed rate? The little ripples are interesting on the rough cut.

Oh just the delrin... just wondering (not knowing) if the delrin would shear or crack or even just flex to much under stress. The design looks plenty strong.

I have done and seen some pretty crazy stuff done with my beadlocks. Delrin will fail but usually at the same time or shortly after the axle "C" or stub axle.

I will do some testing and let you guys know on this design
