Default Nats 1.9 Truggy

Once again, thought I would share this here too!
It started off as a spare parts build that has since evolved.
Old Diaz Prototype chassis
Intimidator Silverado Hardbody
Axial Forward Mounted Trans
Rummy RC Transfer case
RC4WD Dual Spring Scale shocks
RD4WD Widelock 1.9
RC4WD Out Croppers
RC4WD aluminum rear axle w/ truss
Lotsa Brazing 3/16 brake line

Enjoy.

Bout the same thing I am doing in my Jeep build with a T-Case. Looks like it turned out well for the build. So why that T-Case though? Not that it is bad, but just curious.

the disrupter case was too tall, I didnt want anything hanging below the frame rails. Also My buddy Nick and Crawlin Coles is makin em so I wanna support them ast much as possible. Its a slick little case! well see how it does.

Wow! I am not much of a Chevy guy but this is coming along great! I have a set of those 3 piece wheels and I love the look of them. I am saving them for something that I plan on building in the next few weeks or months or whenever. They look great on your truck!

Looking good Nat, I like it alot! I see you talked Nick out of that t-case
I like how you mounted it. And those wheels look hot on there!
What color do you plan on doing the tube work?

Rigs looking good for a spare parts truck! :-P I have that same tranny set-up in my Flatty and the one thing I would suggest is to get a steel shaft coming out of the tranny. I had a stampede one and kept twisting the ears off. I put a steel one on and had no problems since.

Keep up the good work

Sweet build there Nat, looks like that tranny just fits under the hood. Now that you are using the rc4wd Scale shocks instead of the droop do the upper links or mount hit the motor, looks pretty close?
Love the Widelocks...run them on my Wreckluse.

Nope there is about 3/8 of an inch clearance. Just a hair of clearance at full flex.
