Default FT Leaf Sprung/Rear Linked WRECKLUSE...

ON AXIAL SCX10 FRAME RAILS!!!

Ok so my buddy Fletch (Mr. Outside the Box) gave me the Ideal (Thanks Brotha!) so I started hacking up my BRAND NEW WRECKLUSE...
I wanted to have a different kinda WRECKLUSE, I wanted mine to be leaf spung in the front and 4 link in the rear and I wanted it to sit a little lower than the stock 4 link setup..

So what I did was cut out the bottom half (Skid plate supports) and took some stock material out of the front and rear and I attached it to my AXIAL SCX10 frame rails...

This is what it looks like... Take a look!

Here's some of the 'fat' I trimmed to make it work.. (a whole 5 ozs!)

I'll get more pics when I get it built back up, Im working on a couple builds at the moment so be patient with me!

More to come!

Let me know what you think!

I hope you are going to trim the frame rails on the front and rear with the tubes, that would make it look super clean. I admire your bravery for doing such a thing.

I left the front frame rails sticking out a tad to mount front leaf shackles, I really dont think it will be that noticable once its built, the rear, i may trim, I left it a lil longer to see what Im going to do with it

Yeah, the front might not be bad, the rear, you could have bent the down tubes to meet the end of the frame rails. Still looks trick though.

Or just cut the chassis shorter in the rear. Maybe at an angle to match the downtubes?

Got the Wreckluse rolling now (mocked up), still need to redo the front leafs, make a better mount to mount the leafs to the Axial axles, other than that I like the way she sits!
I will be using RC4WD 1.9 RocLox for her, think they will really set it off!

My Action Jackson figure sportin' his Detroit Lions jersey (yeah I know they suck but thats our team!)

Got the Wreckluse hood, cut and all mounted up! I cut the grill/molded winch out becasue i will be using a TSS Aluminum Jeep grill..

Got more work to do! More pics coming soon!
