Default My first scale rig...

OK I finally got into the scale scene... Forgive the quality I had to really adjust the size to get them to fit here.

So I started with the SCX chassis kit and parts from my old comp rig...

2s Goat with an 18.5
Rear low gear axle
Stock front axle
VP high clearance stering
Airtronics 94358 steering servo
Proline Ambush body and cage
Axial front SCX bumper
Axial white 1.9 wheels
RC4WD rock crucher X/T tires

Please let me know what you think,

Default Updates

OK so I went to Jake's last week and picked up the TR flairs and a 3r winch

When I was there I got some inspiration to do this

A scale touch to my rear four-link:-P
The mandatory flex shot

So after getting some ideas I came up with another V&G custom part

It isn't 100% scale but I want to protect my lights if I ever get the funds from the wife:-(

Then I read up on some "home made" stuff
Here are my renditions of "bungee" cords (from the girls hair drawer)
and some unused lases for the "recover straps"

Also you'll notice my recovery ramps from DMG.

Then here is the front view.

Thanks for looking, and as always let me know what you think

Default Clean electronics

OK so I went to the "shack" and picked up two "project" boxes, one would not be tall enough so I cut the top and bottom out of one and "glued" the other parts to it to water proof the heart of the rig
Here is an over all pict.

and now a up close shot

I used good ol liquid electrical tape to seal in all my electronic goodies. It ran a little but it set up quick and I think I have a good seal. It better I have a lot of $$$ in there LOL.

Now to seal the back of my 18.5 with the stuff and I can go mudding in the creek

More to come as I continue to build it up... they are never "done"

Default The CB I promised.

As promised here is my CB
I started with some stirene and some spare coiled wire.

Then I painted it

Here it is installed. Not too good of a shot due to my poor lighting, even with flash on

There it is now to find a driver...
Thanks for looking.
