Default Class 1 Hilux

I purchased this chassis and body from Just Zach quite a while ago but haven’t done anything with it until now. If I remember correctly the chassis was actually built by Kaetwo. This is what I have added:

Hand Bothers 3 Link Rear Setup (front was already installed)
Pro-line Scaler Shocks
RC4WD Baja MTZs on Axial Rims with MTHead Beadlocks
RC4WD Roll Bar and Rubber Mirror (made by RCmodelex)
RC4WD King Kong Winch Hook (small)
Mad Dog RC Light Bar
RPP “Yota” Interior
Dinky R/C Steering Wheel
Tekin FXR (waterproofed)
Holmes Hobbies7T Puller

I still need to configure the servo winch, finish the interior and add misc details but this is what it looks like now:

Thanks, I am really happy with the overall scale look of this truck.

I did the three link rear just because I wanted something a little different. I can’t say that it does anything for performance (over a four link setup) and in stock form the panhard rod hits the top of the axle as the passenger side is compressed. Obviously this limits the suspension travel. Modifying it the way I did improves this, but it does still hit. On this truck it really isn’t an issue because the tires stop just short of hitting the wheel opening which isn’t a bad thing. BTW the front CMS has the same limitation.

Thanks, I live close to Sac State and most of my crawling amounts to having a couple beers and heading out with a few friends. As far as the tires go I just got the truck put together so I will see how they compare this weekend. I also have Pro-Line TSLs and Axial Ripsaws to try, but they are not Class 1 legal (just in case I get around to doing some comps this summer).

Thanks and if my wife had any idea what I spend on these things I would be paying alimony and child support.
