Default WT's TTC Jeep TJ "The MudHunter"

We are going to do one or two TTC testcomps here in Norway this year.
So I needed to build me a TTC rig.

So how about a Jeep.

Something like this:

Compcut body and X-Trail chassis

Almost a roller

Need some other tires, and a new rollcage +++
Axial drivetrain and RC4WD transfer,
Traxxas XL5 esc and a Traxxas 12t 550 motor, do you this that
is enough power

Looks like a great start WT.
I'd like to see it with bigger tires but I'm sure you have something in mind.

The 12T motor should be powerful enough but personally I don't care for their longevity. I've seen so many of them die in crawlers and bashers.
It's a cheap motor to try though.

Thanks Griz,,,I tried a new primer and it worked well,,but a lot
of sanding ahead, to get the old primer off.

She's a roller

Finally got the body primed properly.

Started on half doors

And made a "scoop" to hide the spur gear,,,got to have the body low on this one.

Looks sick!!! Nice cage too. I thought the RoxLox would be too big but they really look good! How about painting those lower links black?

Great Jeep WT. How many is that now?
