Default My 1.9 Chevy Scaler

Well I have been starting and quiting my scaler builds but this time i will finish it for sure, lol. This scaler has the Clod Chevy body that i have bobbed the rear to get a better rear approach, I will fill in the hood and roof, I also have the original Chevy Bowtie grill and Chevy Tailgate. The Chassis is a aluminum x-trail chassis with a scx-10 skid. The drive train is all Axial with aluminum C's and Knuckled. The rear axle has R2J Truss and the front has the HandBros 3 link axle mount. The suspension links are all custom, The rear lowers are bent for more Clearance and the front steering link is bent to look like a Z link. The wheel base is just a little over 11.5" with Integy 1.9 aluminum wheels and RC4WD Rox Lox, the shocks are Proline Dual spring shocks. I have plenty of other stuff to do to this rig so keep checking in and i will try and keep you guys updated. Here are the pics that I have takin so far.

Got some more work done, i uses an old ax10 skid plate for an electronics mount or battery tray, havent decided yet. I cut a cutting board to make a chassis brace but it is also acts as mounting point for the hinge that is mounted to the body and it is also a tray. I didnt want body post showing so I made it where the body hinges for easy quick access.
