Default Bee-otch TTC Truggy

Fresh into the shop is the latest build originally fabbed up by BIGGUN and got in on a trade from kincer, im going to be re-working this one into a class 2 truck. the chassis is all tube with a locked scx tranny, delrin sleeved links CMS and tundra cab. I got it as a slider with servo and heres what she looked like before going under the knife.

Now as you can see shes sitting on a set of Gearhead weighted locks with comp cut front boggers and uncut rears I got from lets go jeep. The first thing to go was the front stinger and centering the body and doing away with the velcro mounts in favor of bolts through the stock body mounts. Added a Novak Rooster Crawler speedo, and pictured is a traxxas rx but will be swapped to a SR300 so I can run the winch. I will be using a HH 35t Torquemaster expert. I trimmed the fender wells for better clearance and will be bending/welding up some tubing tomorrow and some more pics to come.

Looks like an Aussie Tufftruck. Looks fantastic..! The chassis looks like swiss cheese though, what's the purpose of the holes? surely you don't need weight savings there. I would worry about the stresss on the bend right before the skidplate. Might need some bracing to be a truly bulletproof TT. Remember chassis breaks are LETHAL injurys in a TTC.

Im going to be sleeving the holes with some steel to add the strength back in that was taken out even though even with the holes its still very strong

Getting ready to head down and start bending some tubing and getting that front end rearranged. Will update later with some progress pics. Also might be switching motors out to a HH 27t torquemaster expert that I got from TNCrawler

Havent really gotten the time to do much on it the past couple days, I decided not to clutter the front with tubes and reattached the stinger at a steeper angle so not to interfere with my approach angle. I'll probabaly get the time tomorrow to get some real work done on it
