Default MY 3 Bowties

Im sure I will have more at some point. I still need a Burb to round them out, but that may be awhile. Here's the teaser pic I put out there on another thread, my apologies Blazerbogger.

These are the kinds of trucks I see around here daily, thats why I build these instead of truggies. Maybe a little more rust on them

Some of you have seen the Blazer, and only blips of the other 2 , So here they are . I'm not gonna do the build up pics, just the final (almost final ) results

1st up: My Ole Blue worktruck. (what it looked like the day I got the body)

And now

Leafed Highlift axles, w\BB's
SCX10 Chassis an tranny.
RC4WD Bruiser shocks
repro grille
An a lot of body work

I have tons of pics if anybody is curious or has questions on what or how I did something.

Default Next up. My Blazer

Some of you have seen this one already, So I'll keep it short.

Its a stock highlift chassis, shortened about 3\4 " , 3 spd tranny, Axial 1.9 beadlocks, RC4WD Tomahawks for shoes, stock shocks stripped of the red anodizing. Lots an lots of bodywork.

And, No , I still haven't fastened the cap down yet.

Thank you pantablo, it means alot coming from you and you too Crawlin Coles, Thank You very much. Actually anybody on here.

A person can get lost here so fast. If you haven't guessed by now, I normally use jeffro on the other forums. At the time I hadn't planned on getting involved with more then 1 forum, but I was following the release of the SCX10, so I went with jeffro bodean or just bodean.

Anyway, the 4 door mods are (just in case you are curious)

2 clod bodies, of course, with drop bed and opening hood.
TLT axles w\ bearings
RC4WD 1.9 Roc Loc shoes
RC4WD Killer T-Case
RC4WD 80 mm shocks. (tryin to stay scale) real shocks are short.
RC4WD softer black leaf springs
Traxxas shafts (Revo maybe, don't remember, just long)
Homemade chassis, all the shackles, and the perches in the rear.
Tamiya Big Rig 3 spd
Stock Tamiya PaJero wheels
Repro clod grille from ebay

WOW, Thanks guys, all of ya. I'm glad ya like them. Almost hate to tear them up now, I got a little carried away.

Here are some better pictures of the 4 door, it has a little ways to go before its done, its still in mock up, although it will run

Thank you Bullitt4t. A lot of people have really liked my ole blue work truck. I pretty much just filled in the holes

Tried to make the bed look more realistic, since I couldn't do a drop bed

Hope that helps you.

Thank you FLB. Those are Tamiya Toyota Highlift mirrors, with the base reshaped a little to fit the contour of the chevy body.
