Default Revamp jeep tj

Well i done some deal and flip some parts to get this body and chassis. It was a 4 BANGER but i change that Now it can run with the big dogs all day long . It has a axial trans under the hood hook to a losi comp trans converted to a transfer case. Still have to figure out the gearing and motor , but that will come soon. There's still some little thing to do to the interior and lights , winch, ect, but i thing its a good start. I think Bananaclip built the chassis but its changed hands a few times.

Thank guys , heres some half naked pics of the chassis. You can see why this was so hard to do cause the frame is only 2 1/4

I've had a few people asking for pics of the losi comp crawler trans cut into a transfer case. I dont have any pics of it right now but i'll be pulling it apart to repaint and add a few things soon so i'll post them up then. Theres not much to do to it , just cut off the motor mount part and the threads off the slipper input shaft. I'll try a get pics up soon.

I would like to see this setup also when you can tear her apart. Always looking for another tcase setup - easier the better.

Well after looking through boxes and draws all day i found this box to use for my esc. As you can see there's just not that much room under there and the tires will be slinging all kinds of crap up there , Getting closer to the test ride.

Talk about stuffing 10 lbs of shizz in a 5 lbs bag You can tell this frame wasn't designed for this cause its way to tight. Now i need to find a place to mount the reciver and get and winch. Oh ya and mount the winch controller

Well as you can see the first rear test drive did not go as planed. I found out that i had the wrong style lockout on and it spit both axle right out when i was going up a hill. Better You can see in the last pic how much the axle got bent. But its better to find it now than later.

I got the new rear lockouts and 5mm hd axles installed and change the wheels and put the trepador tires on. Now i just have to get a winch and wait for my lights to show up. Here's a few mandatory flex pics
