| Travis C's FJ80
Travis and I went out for a day of fun a few weeks ago to his secret spot. The FJ80 is a monster on the rocks! I'll let him list all the specs, just wanted to get the pics up and start a thread ofr him. |

WOW! Thanks for all the kind words guys A few specs: Axial based, 8* Chubs and Knucks, 300s, Beef Toobz, Over/Under, BRXL W.P., H.H. Expert 35t, 7950, 645 winch servo, 3/16th Chromo tube, FJ80 body is from the For Sale section, can't remember the name of the company that makes it, I'll find out and update. I've added a bunch of LEDs, roof rack, and a few other scale goodies since the pics. I'll put forth some effort into learning how to post pics so I can update the thread. Thanks again for the comments guys! EDIT: Active Hobby ac302 crawler LC 80 Last edited by travis c.; 12-28-2011 at 07:06 PM. |

3/16th Chromo tube, boatsides are Alu, nothin special, I did add some rock lights to em, similar to Chino's, but home made. They are a three LED strip, but instead of slotting the sliders I drilled three 5/32nd holes for each LED with a 90* countersink. I don't have the means to dimple die, so it's my version, I call it "feaux dimple die". Thanks Brian, hoping to get down there in a few weeks to come play again. Looking forward to another scale run with you guys. I love that shirt, brings back good memories.

Very nice Travis, and I thought your Yota truggy was nice. I saw some pictures Dean posted the other day with his Yota, your Yota, and a blue FJ-45 was that yours too?? It looked like a cool rig. Do you have any info on that rig? Thanks

Thanks a lot Bill, yeah , the blue 45 is mine too, actually they are the same rig. I just unbolted the 45s tube work from the frame and re did it with the 80. I can switch back to the 45 in about 20 mins.
