Default Project: Black and Blue (RC4WD equipped Ford F-350 Quad Cab)…

I have unfortunately been building this for a while now, work was really getting in the way. Got a new position at work now so I don’t have to work insane hours any more. Any who, this truck is for Tom at RC4WD (Don’t PM me, I don’t build for people, I just couldn’t pass up Tom’s offer). The body was made by Dready (He does amazing work). Stay tuned for more pics.

Swapped in some RC4WD Xtreme Velocity Drive (XVD) CVDs. This should allow for a lot more steering.

Here are some pics of the K44 Ultimate Axle 4 Link Mount. Very nice unit, even the shims are machined alum.

Got the RC4WD 1.7 beadlocks and 1.7 iroks mounted up. I have to say that these are one of the easiest beadlocks to mount....piece of cake!

Justin, you've got my attention...but answer me this...why not some killer bling wheels? 1.5 voids or 1.7 mickey classics? I would think they would look killer on there! Subscribed!

Since the body was so long, I had to made a frame out of .5" square tubing.

View of the sliders, those two holes hold a piece of delrin for the body mount.

Chassis done.

And Paint.

Not too many people would state this but I have been building this truck for a long time now. I have gone through a lot of changes in the last year or so and just wanted to publicly apologize to Tom for taking so long, thank you for being so patient. My pride got the best of me and I didn’t have the time to finish it but I wanted to. Just FYI to mods, no money was exchanged in me building this and I even shipped it back at my own cost. If anyone is thinking about building something for someone, make sure you have the time before taking it on. Sorry again Tom.

I shipped it out today, hope you get enjoyment out of it.

Justin,
