I'm going to take a stab at my first one off U4/KOH style rig. I haven't built a rig for some time now and couldn't take it anymore. I love scale rc and I really enjoy building custom rigs. I have gathered a decent list of parts and have my belly pan/ skid plate tacked up. I figured that I had better get this one on the board. Pic's will be up soon. |

Started working on my skid section Pay no attention to the bar in the center it's just tacked in so nothing shifts under heat.. Picked up a new mig with gas!!!!!! Skid needs some cleaning up...... Not used to the new welder yet. I'm going to work on my cage section today. Last edited by Bananaclip; 08-19-2014 at 05:17 PM. |

My first skid/ boatside section turned out good and square but I just wasn't feeling it. I knocked out a new one today. I'm pretty happy with the extra work. After a little clean up on the boatsides I can start on the fun stuff! Last edited by Bananaclip; 08-19-2014 at 06:18 PM. |

Just a few things to update today. I'm getting ready to go into work and didn't have much time. I got my cross braces and door panels started I also sent a pm to MTHead for a few sets of his custom delrin rings. I wanted to dress up my new gearheads and I ordered a set for my 1.9 mayhem trailready's that I picked up from yotapane. I promise hair trigger will start to look like something soon. Thanks Yota for the killer deals! I figured a set of MTheads rings would set off your wheels. I have been dealing with a sick wife and 8 year old. I was off the past 2 days and was in the garage as much as possible between pampering my girls. I have some really cool stuff to toss on this rig and can't wait to get a roller |

Looking good! You could turn up the heat on those welds now that you are running gas, won't be as much grind work to do.
