I like the color. The rig is set up nicely. I've always wanted to build a 90 truck. Someday........

Found a muddy spot on the trail today. ..

I'm thinking I really need a driver any suggestions?

Nice job on the truck man and the fenders came out amazing, really diggin them. Tire, wheel combo is so mean looking  and all the little things are really pulling it together nicely. Got some sweet shots in there too!

As for the driver, I opted for a 9" figure off Amazon. A tad big for the interior, but if you plan to do exterior shots as well, I feel he matches the scale decently. I have a build thread with more pics if you'd like to see how he looks inside.

I finally got around to drilling the sliders for 2mm scale hardware and got them mounted to the body so no more fumbling around with them while mounting the body."thumbsup"

And after being inspired by 2kind I made a Army crate to haul my recovery gear.

Stumbled a crossed these RC4wd Warn Winch Pull Tags the other day and placed my order with a quickness "thumbsup"

They showed up today and though they have the right feel, the print looks great and is legible the issue I had with them was the length ..Way to long didn't look right. ;-)

http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...psgxfonmpn.jpg

Awhile back I made my own out of some ribbon and a sticker and liked the length so I "adjusted" the length with some super glue till I can get the wife to do a little sewing..

Stock RC4WD, Adjusted RC4WD, and homebrew

Much better.. "thumbsup"

Oh man, your crate came out awesome! looks right at home up top there. Nice work on the rock rails too. Those scale bolts are the bee's knees.
Haha, The pull tags are a really sweet touch too man, really dig'em. Had some in my cart as well but they disappeared before my funds built up enough to place the order. "With a Quickness" I guess..! Gonna have to try and nab them next go around.
I'm curious to know what you run for fluid in your shocks along with spring rates and how heavy your rig is?
Keep it rollin, man! Always look forward to your updates.

Re: 801Ryan's Gelande D90

Thank man.. the crate works awesome fits 3 straps a pull pal and half a dozen D-rings. Thanks agian for the inspiration.

when I got the truck the original owner had swapped out the RC4WD shocks and shock towers for some scx10 bits with the stock Axial green springs for the oil I run some 47.5 but honestly never really got into tuning suspension most of the time I'm lucky if there is any fluid in them at all. I don't have a good way to weigh the pig but I did the weigh myself and then picked up the rig trick.. math says 10 lbs.

Re: 801Ryan's Gelande D90

Right on! Thanks for the info man. I too run green Axial springs (for the most part) on roughly a 10 lbs. rig. Being so heavy, every little change is felt and noticed. Maybe it's the gamer in me but tuning the suspension has been great fun, albeit rather expensive. Currently testing the softer whites in hopes to lower ride height and eliminate some of the jiggles that like to pull her over.

Just noticed the sweet tie downs holding the army crate! I've been working on some of my own but need to find a proper clip for them.

I love the green; it looks great! What brand/color is that if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the comments.

I'm unsure of the color. I picked up the truck used and never got the opportunity to ask the previous owner. But if you or anyone in the community knows what color it could be please chime in as I have a body mod planed that will need a touch up..

Re: 801Ryan's Gelande D90

I did a bit of digging and I am fairly sure it is a Tamiya paint but they have 2 or 3 shades of that green that are very close in color.

So you question put me on the hunt again to find the color... I tried to contact the previous owner and guess what ? I got ahold of him!! As he can recall it was Honeydew Krylon Fusion paint. I'm going to the local hardware store and see what I can find..

I got some time this weekend to tackle a project that I've wanted to do for some time now.

It started with some scrap wood.

After some glue, fitting and some sanding I had this
