Default Ruinx's 1.9 wraith build

I have been tossing around the idea of building a 1.9 wraith for awhile now I finally decided to pull the trigger and took apart 2 perfectly working trucks to make things happen. Once the axle swap was done (stock wraith size links) I then went about trying to figure out what body I wanted to run. I had the beat down stock Rubicon JK 4dr body from my scx. I figured that the 12.3" wheelbase was about the longest wheel base I would go so if I wanted to change the body I would only have to shorten the 3 / 4 link in the future. Well I've talked long enough here are some progress pictures.

Having driveline and upper link issues

Hacking body up

More to come

Nice work man. I did the same thing with my wraith and scx10. There are a few ways to solve your upper link and driveline problems. I flipped my skid and trans around. I put some spacers on the trans side of the upper links to give the driveshaft clearance. A buddy uses a set of wroncho plates he got from a guy on face book.

Well I started to cut up the jeep body and mount it but I was to long and it looked funky with 4 doors on a 2 door rig so I compromised an this is what I came up with
