I'm digging that chassis, especially the upper link mounts. What did your wheelbase end up at?

After I complete my yota build a YJ is next.

I want to say it's around 10.5 to 11 inches...but I'll go back and measure it for you.

Took the time real quick to start the fender trimming....always worry I'll screw up cutting when I do this.

I subscribed to this thread, because I'm really liking your build so far!!
My next project will be along the same idea, only I will be making my own YJ body(to match my wife's 1:1 scale YJ) from aluminum, like the ZJ body I'm building now.

Keep up the good work!"thumbsup"

Re: .......The simple YJ

I don't know why I like that color. It just looks good on them. I've never owned a yj...I have always had tj's

Fantastic build, and fast too! Looks great! What type of metal sheet are you using and where did you get it!?

Re: .......The simple YJ

I want to say it's 18 gauge...I'll have to check and I got it from ace hardware.
