| Snorkel Ver. 2.1 and new antenna
Okay. So. i ditch my previous snorkel...the redneck one, for a more sophisticated one. All custom buid from scratch using automotive wiper water lines, rubber lines, scale skateboard tire and a japanese car door lock as the scoop.......oh, and solder wire details. Of notice also is that I got rid of the unscale look of the wheel nut in favor of some dark wheel center covers. I tried to make the antenna a more scale look with some TLT stock hardware. I also added some rock sliders/tubular steps made of copper wire. Now lets see the awful quality pics.... |

Came to this thread to see why an electric crawler would need a snorkel and was amazed by the quality of your scaler (if that is the correct term). I've thought of building one myself just for the fun of modeling it, and your rig is truly an inspiration. I'm glad I saw those photos. You ever consider selling scale pieces (like snorkels)? |

| 1980 to 1979 Blazer!
I completed the full downgrade tonight. Full working front end lights. Will get the backlights sometime this weekend. Still need to hook up the 9.V battery but the hard works done. I made a little photo studio so the pics dont suck that much! LOL! |

Those are Imex 2.2 Red Rocks mounted on RC4WD beadlocks. I may used them in another project though but will let you know if I decide to get rid of them.
