Default daniels Killerbody Toyota LC70 V8 GXL on RC4WD TF2LWB

I was in Hong Kong for the Asian Scale Invasion - and then with a bit of luck I ended up having this in my Hotel Room..

Still traveling in Asia I decided to order a TF2 LWB for it after mocking up some things with my G2 and some Dirt Grabbers on Steelies that I found in my bag.

After it arrived I started to study the book - and started thinking how to get this in the way I want....

The 4-Door Toyota was sold to my friend before even opening the box.

I am a chassis guy so this is the Plan I developped:

* Leafunder/Spring Under in the Rear
* 3-Link up front
* Single Speed Tranny for more room

Because the Body of the Topless D90 stayed in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong RC Defender Club I also had a Gelande 2 Chassis with parts at my disposable.

For the leaf under setup I wanted to rotate the rear axle - but also swap the gears to have the same direction as in the front.

After opening the Yota 1 and the Yota 2 it was clear that for my way of doing this I would need to use the Yota 2.

It turned out very nice as the short shocks planed for the front of the TF2 LWB prove to be a perfect fit for the rear with my new setup.

The 3-Link kit for the normal TF2 was not plug and play - It can be fitted - but I was not so happy with it.

The D90 was allready parted out - so I decided to use the full steering, panhard and other bits from the G2.

But then this happend:

After a little research I found out that the 3-link Truss is mounted on a different location on Yota 1 and Yota 2 - but that turned out to be faster for me to change - then making a new link ;)

You could allways run an Aussie style flatbed.

Nice video! How do those tires hook up your running? Do you like them? I have been running the 1.55 and 1.9 RC4WD MTZ and love them, they would look killer under this 70 series body!

Yes, beautiful hardbody truck, love the Aussie style traybacks too. Thanks for the scale video too.

How about some body off shots with the technical details?
