Work, Play, Haul. (Rebuild F650)

I built this rig two years ago, it has had 4 different chassis's several different motors, always brushed and always 3s batteries. It has weighed upwards of 12# and and as little as 6#, carried up to 12,800 mah of battery. But never less than 6400mah. Started on 2.2's 4.2" tire, went 1.9 for a bit, 4.75" tire, then back to 2.2 with a 5.4" tire.

And the second one...http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/2-2-s...play-haul.html

Time for a total rebuild, its kinda going to be old school. Im going to reuse the good stuff, fully built scx10 axles, including Od&Ud gears, homemade brass beef tubes, strc chubs and knuckles, Vanquish trans full of rrp goodies, and a Tekin roc412, in the 3100 kv flavor. A old school RX-8 transfers the power from the battery to the motor, a cc bec and lights, lots of lights. Rc4wd deep dish rims and Pitbull growlers and a full aluminum bed

Looking good! How Re those white shocks working?(forgot the name off the top of my head) I am looking for some internal spring shocks myself. Subbed for what looks like a great build ahead!

Thanks, I have other rigs running in the meantime, so I plan on taking my time with this build.

They are not great (Rcwd Superlift scale 110mm) they stick in the top of the stroke or bottom, or where ever they sit for a while. I'm going to see what I can do to fix the issue.

Ah, thanks for the info. I have recently been trying to take my time on projects so that I don't get frustrated and messs somthing up like I have in the past.

I have the same issue, I build but loose patience and rush to get the truck driving then I never finish it, lol.

Chassis is a roller, and working on electonics placement...

To much flex...

Same. Too much flex? I am not sure what you're going for but I think that looks ok. Of course, that's in my mind since when I build a scaler I tend to throw it at the rocks I take my ax10 comp rig on lol. I am in the process of saving my dough for a new scaler. The one that I had(scx10) quickly evolved into an ax10 so I am currently scaler-less.

Re: Work, Play, Haul. (Rebuild F650)

To much to be scale. Lol. These rigs generally have more frame flex than suspension...
I have done the opposite, ax10 to scaler. I have really been eyeing the new Hpi, especially since the first 1\10 scale rig was a converted wheely king.
