| Building a Jeep JKU scaler to match personal car
Hello, I'm building a Jeep JKU scaler using axial Deadbolt base. I can't see to find a a JKU hard body shell. Some people recommend the new bright Jeep toy RC from Walmart but they seem to be out of stock. And now are going on eBay for much more than the price. I basically need recommendations from the veterans of scaler world. I need help deciding on a body, wheels/tires, bumper, and a brushless system that wont destroy the drivetrain. Also would like to know the where I can find the ring and pinion gear for front to match the rear so there is not too much strain on the drivetrain when upgrading to brushless power. I am on a budget, but will pay for the right items. If anyone has extra parts laying around I wouldn't mind buying as long as they fit my needs. I am new to scaler stuff. I usually run short course for bashing. You guys are an awesome community! Hopefully I can get some guidance. Sent from my ONE A2005 using Tapatalk |

I'm also working on a jku project, I was able to snag one of the older new bright hard bodies. I have a build thread on here. I used the GCM cross canyon chassis. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Curtin1991 - where did you find the Jeep jku hard body? And that chassis required to run the body? I'll post some pics. Sent from my ONE A2005 using Tapatalk |

Nice jeep! I got it off Facebook . Usually you ask on some of the rc pages and someone will have one. Finding one with all the parts and for a Ok price is the challenge . But the older new bright body has the same running boards and pretty close on the fender flares. Rc4wd makes your front bumper im pretty sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

RC4WD hard rock bumper looks closer to yours imo.
